PRODUCTION

  1. What are the advantages of your current production process? (high efficiency, low waste/scrap rates, lower labor costs, consistent high quality, the latest technology or patented process)

PRODUCTIVITY

  1. For each product or service you will sell, how many people and how many minutes, hours, days, or weeks will it take to produce each unit you will sell? (Example: for each Fantasy Furniture Bigfoot chair, it takes 3 workers 2 hours each to produce a unit from raw lumber to ready-to-ship.)
  2. How many units can your workforce produce in a given day?
  3. Multiply the figure from question 2 by 250 days to determine your estimated yearly production

QUALITY ASSURANCE

  1. Who is responsible for quality control?
  2. What specific steps are taken to ensure quality at all points in the production process?
  3. What systems are in place to motivate your employees to maintain high quality standards?
