How to get a Grant?
There are NO grants available to start or expand a business.
While SBA does offer some grant programs, they are generally offered to non-profit organizations or intermediary lending institutions for expansion or enhancing organizations that provide small business management, technical, or financial assistance. The SBA provides links to Federal agencies' grant resources.
Also be aware of "free-money" gimmicks for business owners. Avoid buying books or software that promises grant money. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is! All government grants are listed on the Internet, free of charge, on the Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance website.
If you need funds for a start-up business then look at the loan information found on this site to get closer to realizing your future as a business owner.
